Port tastings are rare, and even rarer when they take place where the ports are made—in this case, the rustic garden hideaway that is the Prager Winery and Port Works tasting room! For those who love dessert wines–and those who may not yet, but will–the Port Works is a great addition to any Napa Valley wine tour package. A tasting includes five samples from their diverse portfolio of fortified wines and late-harvest bottlings, so everyone is sure to find at least one favorite. The business is still family-owned and operated, and though the case production has grown from 120 to 4,000 cases a year, the Pragers will be there to greet you!

HALL wines is unmistakable, even from a distance. Visitors to the St. Helena estate of the famous winery are greeted by a 35-foot chrome rabbit named Bunny Foo Foo! The sculpture is only the first of many installations and paintings guests and visitors are treated to at HALL, known for its collection of, and support for, the arts. But that’s not what made HALL famous. It’s best known for having produced four hundred-point Cabernets – not to mention all the other accolades their wines have received! Guests can taste one of the perfect-score wines in the “Platinum Experience,” one of several great tasting options available.
