It’s 2017 and we’re rarin’ to go to take you on your next Napa Valley wine country tour. Craig and Kathryn Hall acquired the historic St. Helena Bergfeld Winery in 2003 and re-opened as HALL St. Helena in July of that year.  HALL St. Helena’s location was once the home of the Napa Valley Co-Op, producing 40% of Napa Valley’s wines.  In 2013, The Hall family completed the restoration of the 1885 Bergfeld Winery and merged history and innovation with the completion of California’s first LEED® Gold Certified winery, in addition to an incredible Visitor Center and state-of-the-art gravity flow winemaking facility.

HALL’s estate vineyards encompass more than 500 acres of classic Bordeaux varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. As winegrowers, the Halls have a strong respect for the environment and a commitment to cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. Through meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards, HALL wines are able to express the unique and diverse character of Napa Valley’s soils and climate.

Their highly rated wines include the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, selected as Wine Spectator’s #18 of the ‘Top 100’ in 2010, the HALL 2008 “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon that earned #2 Wine Spectator “Top 100” Wines, and its 2010 ‘Exzellenz’ earned 100 points by Robert Parker. Collectively, over 140 HALL Wines have been rated 90 points and above. Guests arrive with an official welcome from (not so little) Bunny Foo-Foo chrome sculpture galavanting through the vineyards and instantly realize they’re at a one of a kind destination. With daily offerings including the signature HALLmark tour, guests have a choice of winery tours and tastings for the novice wine drinker to the expert cab collector. With over 35 pieces of contemporary art, this 150 year old site has something for everyone. Wine, art, history, architecture, technology a lush landscaping and a Great Lawn for relaxing and unwinding.

As avid, lifelong art collectors, Craig and Kathryn Hall invite guests to enjoy expressive art from over twenty five different artists spanning a multitude of genres. Their Wine and Art Exploration experience at HALL St. Helena is perfect for in-depth tour of the art collection on the property. Featuring some of the most internationally acclaimed artists today, such as John Baldessari, Jim Campbell, Nick Cave, Jaume Plensa, guests will be guided through the collection, while tasting some of HALL’s amazing wines.
