The next stop on our “virtual wine tour” is on the Silverado Trail in the heart of the Napa Valley. Baldacci Family Vineyards sits comfortably nestled amidst lush vineyards and sprawling hillside. Owner, Thomas Baldacci had a dream of not only making world-class wine, but building a lasting legacy for his family. Today, his family is very active on the estate and all share a passion for the wine making business. Together, alongside an expert vineyard management team, viticulturist, and sales team, they produce some of the world’s greatest wines.
On average, Baldacci Family Vineyard produces about 3,500 cases of wine a year. The majority of their wines are red, including Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District, Cabernet Franc, and wines from the Carneros, Russian River, and greater Napa Valley AVAs. They also produce a smaller amount of Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, and Chardonnay.

The Baldacci Family Vineyard estate includes 45 acres of vineyards, an on-site winemaking facility and 7,000 square feet of wine caves. They also have a family-friendly tasting room that features a selection of their world-class wines. We love this winery’s casual, unpretentious atmosphere. Their spectacular wine speaks for itself. They even name their wines after members of the family. While this winery is smaller by comparison to neighboring Napa Valley wineries, they have a beautiful outdoor patio and ample space to move around, explore, and relax. Don’t be surprised if you see their Black Labrador, Beau running around the property. He’s an integral part of life at the vineyard.
Baldacci Family Vineyards also offers a cave tour and tasting package, which is both fun and educational. The Baldacci family and their team make you feel right at home. They are friendly, courteous, and go out of their way to treat you like family.
